The Trawsfynydd Branch Line
The Trawsfynydd Branch Line is the ex-GWR line in North Wales. The line runs from the Conwy Valley station at Blaenau Ffestiniog, passing through Manod, Llan Ffestiniog, Maentwrog Road, and finally terminating at the nuclear sidings at Trawsfynydd. The route is based in the mid-1990s, before the line was officially mothballed.
Requirements
Acknowledgements I would like to thank my parents for allowing me to walk down the track from Llan Ffestiniog to Blaenau during one family holiday, sparking my interest in the line. I would like to thank my beta-tester James Crellin (billythepet123), and Vic Jones for doing additional testing. I would like to thank Larry Goddard, author of two excellent pictorial books on North Wales railways; “Conwy Valley – Eight Decades of Colour” and “Colour of the North Wales Main Line” which proved very useful. I would like to thank Dave Sallery for his fantastic website with the pictorial record of the line. ADDITIONAL: Sometimes SmartScreen Filter may block the download because of the low download count.
