Mistral 56 Coach Pack V1.0

This Train Simulator package represents the 1956 Mistral train, as it ran as the Mistral between 1956 and 1969, and their appearance just after their role with the Mistral was finished. It comprises the 1956 DEV INOX stainless steel cars; the first of their kind built for French railways, as well the Wagons-Lits Restaurant Car, Wagons-Lits Pullman Car, and purpose-built Generator Van.

Requirements

There are no requirements needed for the individual coaches to function.
However, if you want to use the supplied consists or play the scenarios, please look at the list in the manual.

CLASS 503 ELECTRIC MULTIPLE UNIT v1.00

This is a custom-built Class 503 electric multiple unit model, based primarily on the first batch of units from 1938, and as they appeared from their first years with the LMS right through their withdrawal from British Rail in 1985 and short time in preservation after.

Requirements:
- Woodhead Electric Railway in Blue

The class 503 gets most of its sounds from the Woodhead class 506, with differences being:
- set up for a two-tone horn
- custom compressor sound
- custom main motor sound

Each class 503 is a fully custom-built model complete with a custom cab and interior. A player-controlled or autonumber-driven destination blind is also incorporated.​

This is a custom-built Class 85 electric locomotive model, as they appeared in their later BR period with headlights in the headcode box position and TOPS numbers applied.​

NIGHT FERRY ROLLING STOCK PACK

This is a pack of coaches depicting the CIWL F-type Sleeping Car and SNCF Dd2f Luggage Van as used on the Night Ferry train from London to Paris/Brussels/Basel from 1936 until 1980.

They have been built from scratch and the pack features:
  • CIWL F-type Sleeping Car in four era depictions.
  • SNCF Dd2f Luggage Van.
  • Passenger view for the CIWL F sleeper.
  • Changeable autonumbers on all vehicles and changeable destination board on sleeper.
  • All incorporated sounds and couplers.
  • Day/night lighting automatically set.
  • Automatic taillamp addition to rearmost vehicle on a player driven train.

No other requirements are needed.

RScott Southern EMU Revamp Pack

This pack makes available once again the Southern EMUs created by Richard Scott (RScott) that were unavailable when UKTrainsim closed down.

They return with revised and updated textures (including glass), light additions for headcodes and tail lamps, and a complete changeover of sounds from the original to those from the AP Class 411 EMU pack from Armstrong Powerhouse.

Included in the pack are:

LIVERPOOL CORPORATION "BOGIE STREAMLINER" TRAM PACK

This is a small pack containing a model of a Liverpool Bogie Streamliner tram, based upon tram 869 at Crich. The “Bogie Streamliner” trams were built for Liverpool Corporation Tramways at their Edge Lane works from 1935. They entered service on the Liverpool network from 1936. 163 tram cars of this type were built in total.
They have been built from scratch and incorporate some notable features:

  • Realistic control functions as far as possible
  • Animated trolley pole and folding seats that automatically switch to the correct orientation for the direction of travel.
  • Downstairs interior view as part of cabview positions and upstairs interior view.
  • Night time lighting and train glass weather effects for the cab.
  • Quick Drive consists.

USS Enterprise NCC-1701 and NCC-1701-A

An April Fools Novelty Release

These are simple driveable vehicle models (scaled down to fit on standard railway gauge) of the starships USS Enterprise NCC-1701 from the Original TV series Star Trek and NCC-1701-A from films Star Trek I - VI.

They are essentially a stop/go driving vehicle, compatible with any electrified/non-electrified standard gauge line. They have a max speed of about 100mph but with rapid acceleration/braking. The cab view for both ships is the bridge interior for the Original Series Enterprise.
There are ambient sounds for the exterior and interior, and pressing the spacebar/horn will either play the sound of the phasers or torpedoes.
